Quick tip for security pros
If you work in security, you probably use putty more than anything to manage the remote devices. Here is a quick command to backup your putty profile. Its all in the registry, so just put the following command in Start-->Run
regedit /e "%userprofile%\desktop\putty.reg" HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Simontatham
Now, look at your desktop; there will be a putty.reg file there.
You can take this to a new computer and run it to import. Just double click the file and hit 'yes' on the confirmation box.
p.s. there is a new version of putty released on jan 24, 2007; check the release notes to see what has changed.
